Bachelor's degree in accounting from accredited college or university.
Four years of progressively advanced experience in general ledger, budget reporting, payroll, tax reporting, audit, Microsoft Office, and school accounting.
Experience with Ascender (TxEIS) software preferred. CPA candidate preferred. Master's degree preferred. Bilingual preferred.
Reports to Chief Financial Officer and/or Central Office Administrator
$60,000 - $75,000 annually
240 days with benefits provided in accordance with the Employment Agreement.
Record the collection of all funds (except taxes) due to the district and depositing these funds in the manner prescribed by law
Record the disbursement of district funds in accordance with board policy, the adopted school budget, and state and federal law
Preparation of monthly budget comparison reports.
