Summary You will serve as the Distinguished Engineer for Combatant Craft Hydromechanics within the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD). Responsibilities You will provide enterprise wide scientific and engineering oversight of Combatant Craft Hydromechanics technology development (i.e., resistance and powering, seakeeping, hull form, propulsion, and ship control). You will provide oversight and coordination of Combatant Craft Hydromechanics research, development, test and experimentation initiatives across the Naval Research and Development Establishment (NRDE). You will recommend and oversee major Combatant Craft Hydromechanics technology and facility investments within the Division, Warfare Centers, NAVSEA, the DoN, and the DoW.
