About the Role

To manage and control terminal equipment operations from the control room, ensuring optimal utilization, efficient dispatching, minimal delays, and smooth coordination between yard, vessel, and gate operations.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and allocate terminal equipment (RTGs, Reach Stackers, ITVs, trucks) based on operational priorities.
• Monitor real-time equipment productivity and yard/vessel operations.
• Adjust equipment deployment dynamically to optimize performance and reduce idle time.
• Coordinate closely with Yard, Vessel Operations, and Gate teams.
• Liaise with Engineering/Maintenance teams for breakdowns and recovery actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures during equipment movements.
• Maintain clear communication via VHF/radio systems.
• Record and report operational delays, breakdowns, and performance metrics.
