A Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring all dishware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Using both machine and manual cleaning methods, you will uphold sanitation standards and contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dishwashing area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sort, rinse, and wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand as needed.
- Ensure all items are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored in designated areas.
- Set up and break down the dishwashing area, ensuring proper organization and cleanliness.
- Rewash soiled dishes before delivering to the cook's line or proper storage areas.
