The Disability Resource Professional and Learning Specialist supports the learning and academic needs of students at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) with particular attention to ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for students with disabilities. In the Disability Resource Professional (DRP) component of this role, this position will support the diverse academic, personal/developmental, and interpersonal needs of our population of MD Program learners with disabilities. They will provide learning strategies, coaching, assistance, and referrals as needed for our students such that they are able to perform equitably to their peers.
