Responsibilities The Director, System Oversight Division, is responsible for executive oversight of system corrections involving Aircraft Certification Service (AIR) designees and delegations, FAA design and production approval holders, and operations associated with bilateral agreements. The Director applies systems thinking to understand linkages and interactions, quickly identify issues within the system, and maintain confidence in the performance of industry, designees, organizations, and bilateral partners through robust oversight.
