Summary The Airports organization provides leadership to airport owners and operators, and other key stakeholders, to ensure that U.S. airports are as safe and efficient as possible. Help shape the future of aviation by leading and supporting the safety, efficiency, sustainability, and fiscal responsibility of airports across the nation. Responsibilities The Director, Southern Regional Airports Division, provides executive leadership for implementing and ensuring compliance with national aviation transportation policy across the ten states and U.S. territories within the FAA Southern Region. The Director oversees airport sponsors' adherence to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS), Airport Safety and Certification requirements, the Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) Program, Airport Environmental Programs, and other statutory and policy mandates.
