Position Overview
Position Summary:
Power Contracting’s Director of Safety is responsible for the standardization, implementation and execution of companywide safety programs and initiatives. This position establishes processes and strategies to deliver a positive safety culture and supports for a safe, qualified workforce.
Essential Functions:
+ Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety policies and procedures.
+ Recommend improvements to safety programs and program processes
+ Develops loss reduction strategies across the division
+ Assists with ensuring all safety manuals, programs, policies, and practices are current
+ Build consensus when appropriate, motivate and encourage others
+ Communicates well both verbally and in writing (creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations)
