Overview
The Director of Oral and Facial Pain focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of patient with oral and maxillofacial pain and will assist with Touro College of Dental Medicine's continued development of an Oral Facial Pain Center. The Orofacial Pain discipline assesses, diagnoses and treats patients with complex, chronic pain in the mouth, jaws, and face.
Responsibilities
+ Clinical and didactic teaching at the pre- and post-DDS level, research activity, patient care at the Oral Facial Pain Center, and service.
+ The Director will provide and oversee the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex, chronic pain in the mouth, jaws, and face.
+ Directing course content with teaching in Oral Facial Pain, sleep dentistry & other curriculum content as determined by the Dean, Vice Dean, or Assistant Dean.
