Job Summary:
The Director of Hospital Purchasing is responsible for managing the procurement functions of University and Community Hospitals, Ambulatory sites, and various affiliated entities, to include the purchase of all supplies, equipment, warranty services, strategic sourcing, and contracting for the 340B Program. The Director will achieve the financial and operational goals of Hospital Purchasing, maintaining the highest possible degree of customer satisfaction. The Director will be responsible for ensuring that the departments are compliant with NYS Finance Law, as well as other applicable State and Hospital rules/regulations/policies/procedures, for procurement functions. The Director is responsible to manage Hospital Purchasing Associates and Assistants, monitor operations and assign projects.
