Job Summary

The Director of Finance provides leadership and vision for the provision of financial and business administrative services to the Board of Education of School District No. 36 (Surrey). The position ensures the effective management, oversight, and delivery of financial and payroll functions including budgeting, forecasting, accounting and financial reporting, capital accounting, payroll and benefits.This position is responsible for developing and executing both strategic and operational plans for the delivery of financial services and ensuring alignment with the Board of Education’s mission, goals and priorities.
