Position Overview
Assists in managing the Events Department's operations by ensuring up-to-date manuals, effective communication, and accurate recordkeeping of all agreements and bookings.Utilizes tools like Opera to maximize event revenue and supports reporting and tracking processes for catering and function sales.Coordinates closely with other departments to meet guest expectations and ensure seamless event execution.Actively engages with guests and colleagues to maintain strong relationships and high service standards.Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar managerial role at an international branded hotel.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
