Director of Engineering I am recruiting for a Director of Engineering working for a Cape Town based Fin Tech. They are stepping into their growth phase - moving the product forward including potential market share, new integrations as well as moving into new territories. In support of this next step, they are growing their teams to support these initiatives - one of the key hires is this position. The Engineering team at present is about 40 people strong with a fantastic Head of Engineering in place - this person will be working alongside him and both will report into the CEO. You will be directly managing Engineering Managers, overseeing recruitment initiatives, managing budgets and operational costs as well as setting goals and KPIs. Improving processes and standards will be a big part of this role as well as setting up roadmaps with the Engineering support teams.
