Director, Engineering

Port Elgin, ON – permanent placement at our Port Elgin office.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the utilization of the engineering personnel assigned to them.
• Responsible for the technical integration with Bruce Power and Candu Energy Inc head office.
• Responsible for site technical point of contact with Bruce Power.
• Ensure qualified and appropriate staff are working on the project and are assigned work within their experience and skills.
• Provide guidance, technical insights, supervision and feedback to the Engineering Managers that are part of the team.
• Oversight of technical deliverables budget, schedule and quality.
• Ensure that the final deliverables meet customer requirements specified in the contract and overall alignment with nuclear codes and standards.
• Review and approve or delegate the approval of key technical documentation under supervision.
