**Job Description**
BAE Systems is hiring a Director of Contracts to support our Maritime Solutions business in Norfolk, VA. The Director will be responsible for the oversight of the Contracts function for BAE Systems Norfolk Maritime Solutions.

This position will be 100% onsite in Norfolk, VA to support business needs.

Responsibilities:

+ Serve as a key part of the senior business management team for Norfolk Maritime Solutions.
+ Serve as an influential leader in the entire range of contract formation, negotiation, and administration policies and processes in accordance with customer expectations and corporate objectives.
+ Provide hands-on leadership that offers high-level strategic coaching as well as occasional front-line contract management.
+ Provide high-level guidance and hands-on coaching to Contracts professionals, including complex contractual arrangements of strategic importance to the business.
