Position Overview
The Director of Business Development leads the growth of construction and environmental health and safety (EH&S) service offerings by developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing customers. This role focuses on selling large, multi-million-dollar service engagements, building a strong sales pipeline, and closing complex deals across manufacturing, construction, and EH&S markets.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow construction and EH&S services across targeted industries.
+ Identify, prospect, and qualify new customers through outside sales activities, including onsite client visits, networking, and industry outreach.
+ Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and needs assessment through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
