**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Director Nursing Perioperative Services at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, you will be responsible for surgical service departments including OR, Pre-op, PACU, GI, and SPD, as well as procedural service departments including Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Lab.

Many surgical specialties are supported, including cardiac, vascular, thoracic, neuro, ortho, GYN, bariatrics, urological, gastroenterology, as well as general surgery. We have 11 Operating Rooms, inluding 1 CVOR, and utilize the latest technologies and equipment such as the daVinci robotic system. On average we perform 650 surgical cases each month.

Every day, you will direct the operations, work with Sr. Leadership on strategy and key initiatives, and work with your front-line leaders to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care in very fast paced environments.
