A leading wealth and investment fund is looking to hire a Corporate Governance and Compliance specialist at a senior level. 

Based in Muscat, Oman, the role involves leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the fund’s governance and compliance frameworks. This includes ensuring their adherence to international standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. 

This is a management role and so will also involve leading a team in this area. Applicants must therefore have experience of leading, managing and (most importantly) mentoring a compliance team. Applicants must have at least 15 years’ experience of working in the investment industry. They must have proven management experience as well as experience of establishing compliance procedures and cultural change. Experience of working in the Gulf States is much preferred. The ability to speak Arabic fluently is essential.
