Responsibilities
Provide expertise in market-making, execution, risk management, market insights, and advisory services on Asia emerging market FX and rates products.Maximize SMBC clients’ transaction volume and revenue across FX (NDF), rates (NDS, NDIRS), and options (ND Option) products.Enhance the trading desk to deliver top-notch professional service to SMBC’s clients.Adhere to all SMBC rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.Collect and update market information, providing insightful market commentary to SMBC colleagues. Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Commerce.At least 10 years of experience as an interbank trader in Asia emerging markets.Strong working knowledge of Asia EM currency markets, including NDF, NDS, NDIRS and ND options.Familiarity with onshore markets and regulations in the APAC region....
