The Animal Health and Welfare Director is responsible for directing and participating in the comprehensive animal health and welfare program for the zoo’s entire animal collection, including mammals, fish, reptiles, birds, invertebrates, and rescue & rehabilitation programs. This role is integral to maintaining high animal welfare standards and advancing the science of animal health. The Director sits within the Strategic Operations Management Office and reports to the Miral Experiences Board, overseeing all aspects of the animal health and welfare program and associated operations while building a high‑performing, motivated team.
