Third Place is looking for a Women's Support Counsellor to provide meaningful support, safety planning, and crisis intervention for women and children. This role is critical in promoting stability and well-being.

The casual Women's Support Counsellor will report to the Executive Director and assist women experiencing violence. Ideal candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience in social services or crisis intervention. Critical thinking and anti-oppressive practices will be needed to promote healing and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities: • Create trusting relationships through active listening • Apply crisis intervention skills during distress • Organize supportive groups and share community resources • Help clients create and modify personal action plans • Provide advocacy and assistance navigating services
