Job Description

Responsible for providing guidance, planning, and direction of the Medical/Surgical/Tele Department. Responsible for making independent judgment/decisions concerning emergency situations in the absence of the physician or other medical authority. Responsible for maintaining good public relations in the areas assigned. Responsible for interpreting and presenting policies, procedures, and standards for approval and implementation in the Medical/Surgical unit and Pediatric Unit. Must take RN House Supervisor duties as needed and provide patient care as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Performs duties in any Med-Surg/Tele nursing/clinical capacity as needed and qualified.
