Job Summary

Working in the Central Production Unit and Dining Room at Kendray Hospital, we are looking for enthusiastic catering staff for two 20‑hour posts on a rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays. The role involves providing safe, nutritious meals to patients, staff and visitors, and supporting special events.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals to the required standard, using fresh ingredients.
• Assist in the preparation of functions and special events.
• Adhere to Food Hygiene General Regulations, HACCP system and NHS cleaning standards.
• Carry out cleaning duties and maintain hygiene of the dining area.
• Work as part of a team, prioritise and organise daily duties, and use initiative.
• Handle cash and clear post‑meal areas, observing health and safety policies.
• Provide efficient service for meetings, lunches and functions.
