ALBA is the Spanish synchrotron light source located in Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain). It is funded by the Spanish Government and the Catalan Government and operates ten beamlines, an Electron Microscopy Center and other complementary facilities.

Tasks

Some of the functions of the post are as follows, for the accelerators of ALBA:

• Maintenance, improvements and developments of the Digital LLRF systems.
• Continuous upgrade of the FPGA gateware based in VHDL.
• Digital Signal Processing.
• Digital and analogue electronic design including schematics and PCB.
• Documentation management.

As part of the Radiofrequency group, the candidate shall contribute to the operation and maintenance of the complete RF systems.
