A large constructionpany requires a Digger Operator supporting groundwork, drainage, and foundation activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Your new role

Operate excavators (between 5 and 20 tonnes) in a safe and controlled manner.

Carry out excavation work for foundations, drainage, trenching, and utilities

Assist with site preparation including grading, levelling, and backfilling

Work closely with site managers, groundworkers, and subcontractors

Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of machinery

Ensure all workplies with site drawings, specifications, and health & safety standards

Follow all site procedures, method statements, and risk assessments

Support general site duties when machine operation is not required

Maintain the cleanliness and security of plant equipment
