Purpose of the Role

The Diesel Technician is responsible for carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and maintenance on commercial diesel vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal vehicle performance, safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The role supports workshop productivity through accurate workmanship, effective communication, proper documentation, and adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.

• Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and related systems using diagnostic tools and software.


• Perform maintenance and repair work according to workshop standards and manufacturer specifications.
