Position Summary The Lead Diesel Technician performs major mechanical repairs with minimal supervision to ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles and equipment; makes all repairs in a safe, cost effective and time efficient manner. The Lead Technician will prioritize, delegate, train and instruct other technicians to ensure repairs are being done in a safe manner and is responsible for active participation in the company's progress with the career paths program and help technicians to move up in their careers. Key Responsibilities Schedules, implements, and maintains a preventative Maintenance program for all vehicles and equipment at the division.
