Position Overview
A Dental Nurse Assistant supports dentists and dental nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting during clinical procedures, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
Key requirements
- Mandatory: Valid DHA license (Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant)
- Education: Diploma/Certification in Dental Assisting/Dental Nursing (or allied health) from an accredited institute
- Experience: Typically 1–3+ years in a dental clinic (many prefer 2–3 years )
- Clinical skills: Chairside assisting, dental instruments & materials knowledge
- Infection control: Sterilization + DHA-aligned infection control practices
