Job Description - Assist in budget development & manage costs in alignment with DFWAC’s strategic plan
- Compile & analyze the foundation’s financial information to prepare monthly & annual financial reports
- Assist in developing & implementing departmental accounting policies, procedures & processes
- Manage the foundation’s bank accounts, ledgers, & reporting systems in accordance with appropriate Accounting Principles & regulatory requirements
- Develop & maintain financial databases for the foundation
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting deadlines
- Manage vendor invoices & process necessary payments
- Oversee accurate & appropriate analysis of expenses
- Research & resolve discrepancies of financial information documentation to ensure accuracy & adherence to established procedures
