**Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include:**

+ Perform a variety of electrical, mechanical and chemical operations required to produce detector arrays for imaging systems.
+ Process, assemble, machine, inspect, and test a variety of delicate and intricate ceramic, mechanical, and electrical assemblies from written and verbal instructions.
+ Recognize defective parts, perform appropriate rework; fit and adjust tools as required.
+ Maintain and interpret process control charts.
+ May be required to set up and tear down complex computer controlled mechanical and electrical machines.
+ Perform work of a miscellaneous nature whenever it is conducive to efficient operation and/or maintaining production.
