Position Overview
The Virginia Tourism Corporation (VTC) is seeking a Destination Development Manager to cover most of the Virginia Mountains and portions of Central Virginia Regions. Working with tourism industry partners, the manager will facilitate the development of community-based tourism programs, new products, and tourism-related businesses.
Responsibilities:
Provide tourism strategic planning, technical assistance, and product development guidance Present to local, regional, state, and federal organizations Provide cooperative marketing assistance to communities and small tourism-oriented businesses Connect tourism industry representatives and small businesses with VTC services Skills:
