Position Overview
The Deskside Engineer provides onsite technical support to end users, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems, hardware, and software. The role involves troubleshooting issues, installing equipment, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
- Perform on-site troubleshooting for hardware, software, OS (Windows/macOS), and network issues, providing desk-side support.
- Support users with email, printers, and common business applications
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutions
- Coordinate with other IT teams or vendors when necessary
