Position Overview
Educational Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- A master’s degree is often preferred for senior or specialized industries
Experience Requirements - Several years leading engineering teams or projects
- Experience handling the full product lifecycle from concept to production
- 5+ years in mechanical design or product development
Technical Requirements Strong knowledge of:
- Mechanical system and product design
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Design for Assembly (DFA)
- GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Material selection and manufacturing methods
- FEA and simulation techniques
- Reliability and failure analysis
- Industry standards and compliance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
