The Motor Design Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing electric motors to meet customer requirements while aiding in the capture and retention of profitable business. This includes working on all aspects of electric motors and their components such as winding, insulation systems, magnets, sensors, feedback devices, motor performance, tooling, process controls, and more.
Responsibilities

+ Design, prototype, assemble, and test electromagnetic topologies for high-performance aerospace and defense motors in an AS9100 environment.

+ Develop breakthrough motor technologies to enhance market competitiveness.

+ Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost through expert materials selection and GD&T.

+ Utilize electromagnetic principles and analysis, including Finite Element Analysis, simulation, and modeling.
