Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Design & development of Passenger Car BIW sheet metal components
Strong expertise in UG NX (NX Surfacing is mandatory)
In-depth knowledge of BIW structures and assemblies
Concept generation and feasibility evaluation of BIW components
Knowledge of joining techniques (spot welding, hemming, riveting, etc.)
Manufacturing knowledge of sheet metal components
Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly) principles
Cost optimization of components and assemblies
Knowledge of materials, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and FMEA
Work experience in Teamcenter (mandatory)
Participate in design reviews and packaging reviews
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
Manage project timelines and deliverables
