Due to a strong pipeline of projects in South East Queensland, BESIX Watpac has an exciting opportunity for a Design Coordinator to join our Qld Construction team. This role is key to ensuring excellence in project delivery through design leadership.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
Participate in the management of the design team and the timely delivery of project documentation and attend and participate in design and coordination meetings for both Consultants and Subcontractors.Review project designs for regulatory and building compliance.Review the design for constructability in collaboration with the construction team and trade subcontractors to drive efficiencies during delivery.Review trade package documentation for compliance with Head Contract before tenders are called and progressively monitor the production of workshop drawings and coordination with works to be constru...
