The NYU School of Law’s Center for Labor and Employment Law (the Labor Center) and Institute of Judicial Administration (IJA) are seeking a single Deputy Director.
About Our Centers. The Labor Center was created in 1996 as a nonpartisan forum for discussion of policy and legal issues involving the employment relationship. IJA, founded in 1952, is a leader in judicial education and offers a forum for nonpartisan thinking about the administration of justice. Samuel Estreicher, Dwight D. Opperman Professor of Law is the Faculty Director of both centers. Both centers have active advisory boards comprised of leading jurists, practitioners, and scholars. Both are highly-regarded organizations supporting research, liaising with courts, attorneys, and decision-makers, and fostering nonpartisan dialogue on issues of public policy.
