ECDA’s Sector Planning infrastructure team is responsible for the planning, design and development of preschool supply, to meet the demand for pre‑school services in Singapore. This is a critical function to achieve Government’s goal of providing accessible, affordable and quality preschool services for young families.

• Execute ECDA’s 5‑year preschool masterplan to meet national targets for the creation of preschool places
• Formulate supply strategies and maintain oversight of yearly schedule to deliver the preschool places under the Masterplan
• Engage and co‑ordinate with relevant stakeholders including operators, government agencies and advisers to facilitate the planning and development of preschools to address local supply‑demand mismatches
• Secure resources (i.e. funding), approvals and oversee the budget and grant disbursement exceeding $400 million per master plan cycle
