Summary The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is seeking a highly accomplished executive leader to serve as the Deputy Director, Legislative and Public Affairs. Reporting directly to the Director, Legislative and Public Affairs, the incumbent serves as the principal deputy and trusted advisor responsible for advancing the agency's legislative affairs, congressional relations, strategic communications, public affairs, media relations and stakeholder engagement initiatives. Responsibilities This position plays a critical role in supporting the Architect of the Capitol's mission by fostering effective relationships with Members of Congress, congressional committees, congressional staff, oversight organizations, media representatives, external stakeholders and the public.
