Qualifications

• An appropriate Diploma / Degree in Nursing and current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a General Nurse (R425) and as a Midwife (R254).
• Advanced Diploma in Midwifery (NQF Level 7) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Midwifery recognized by SANC.
• A Qualification in Nursing Administration or Health Service Management of at least 1 year duration and registered as such by SANC.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 10 years in the health sector with at least 5 years of appropriate experience as an Assistant Director or equivalent level in Maternal, Newborn, Child and Women’s Health (MNCWH) services.
