The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a temporary part-time, as needed (PRN) dental hygienist for its affiliated Dental Faculty Practice (DFP), 8-40 hours per week. When our faculty dentists and faculty hygienists are not teaching the next generation of dentists and hygienists, our faculty provide expert care for children and adults through DFP and provide virtually every area of dental care available.
Serve as a temporary dental hygienist performing dental hygiene services in the Dental Faculty Practice in the College of Dentistry; Dental Hygienists prevent and treat disease, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity. Duties may include: taking and developing dental x-rays, cleaning teeth, placing sealants and fluorides on the teeth, teaching patients how to brush and floss properly and taking patient history.
