Role Description of Demurrage Analyst: Oversee demurrage exposure for Gasoline desk trade, analyzing and negotiating payables and receivables. Prepare demurrage computations and submit timely reports to relevant counterparts. Ensure prompt collection of outstanding claims and track incoming funds. Collaborate closely with cargo operators for efficient claims file management and documentation. Generate weekly/monthly demurrage status reports and handle monthly demurrage accruals. Coordinate with the contract desk on purchase and sales contracts, focusing on delivery nomination, Laytime, and demurrage clauses. Verify and endorse freight invoices for approval/payment.
