Create and manage statistical forecasts and turn large volumes of data into accurate and commercial insights of new and existing products. This role combines deep technical expertise in forecasting models with business acumen to deliver accurate, data-driven (internal business intelligence, downstream data etc.) predictions.
Constantly analyze / Sales baseline projections for MC Demand Planners to enrich with local demand drivers assumptions.
Create simulations of various scenarios, assessing the potential impact of market changes, strategic decisions, or unforeseen events, in coordination with MC Demand Planners according to local strategies & objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Forecast Build – Baseline & Trends forecasting
Create accurate baseline demand forecasts using statistical methods, external data from distribution partners, Nielsen and historical data, segment SKUs and apply rational forecasting strategies.
