Position Overview
Delivery Driver (Class 4/5) Working Days: 5.5 Days
Working Hours: Mon – Fri: 7.30am to 5pm; Sat: 7.30am to 1pm
Location: Woodlands
Salary: $1.8K - 2.8K + Meal Allowance + OT
Responsibilities - Ensure that all delivery orders are delivered island-wide
- Call office if unable to deliver diesel so that DO can be generated on time
- Ensure delivery orders are counter-signed by customers
- Ensure that the triangle blocks (wheel chocks) are enforced when the tanker truck is stationary
- Update Log sheet; e.g., driver who uses the truck must indicate their name and the purpose if the truck breaks down
- Ensure the safety seal is intact
- Ensure tanker truck is in good condition and cleanliness
- Coordinate with salesperson/office on customer issues during delivery
- Collect cash and cheques from customers upon delivery for COD orders
