ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Keeps Deli service areas well stocked and appealing at all times to meet customer demands. Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.Ensures freshness and condition of merchandise in display cases along with proper prices and correct signs. Properly rotates product. Handles spoiled or damaged products or products close to expiration according to company procedures and standards.Operates slicing equipment to provide meats and cheeses based on customer preferences. Packages items and applies sticker showing price, weight, and date. Prepares ready-to-eat foods to individual order of customers. Prepares platters of sliced meats, cheeses and vegetable trays.
