Declassification Analyst

We are seeking a Declassification Specialist to support the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) at Naval Reactors Headquarters (NRHQ) in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for performing detailed declassification reviews of sensitive NNPP records in accordance with Executive Order , ensuring proper handling, disposition, and protection of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI).



Responsibilities

Perform declassification reviews with minimal supervision.

Directly support Naval Reactors at NRHQ.

Identify and properly handle NNPP and NNPI materials.

Conduct systematic reviews of classified and controlled records.

Perform FOIA, Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR), litigation, referral, and public utterance reviews.

Execute Go / No-Go reviews and records management evaluations.
