As a Legal Aid Debt Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the resolution of legal aid debt through direct customer engagement and informed application of legislation and policy. The role involves confident communication, thoughtful negotiation of repayment arrangements, and collaboration with stakeholders to secure debt against property where necessary. You will also bring strong decision-making skills to assess and approve debt write-offs, helping deliver outcomes that are both reasonable and sustainable.
