Position Overview
The Database Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, data integrity, and user administration of the Carnival fleetβs marine asset systems, including AMOS, Oracle, Napa Elog, Infoship SQL, and ServiceNow. This role ensures the reliability, accuracy, and security of critical operational systems that support both shipboard and shoreside functions. Key responsibilities include optimizing system performance through SQL query development and analysis, partnering with IT teams and external vendors on infrastructure and technical support, maintaining compliance with cybersecurity and SOX monitoring requirements, and delivering system guidance and technical training to end users.
