Background

The mission of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is to "promote public safety and strengthen domestic security by providing services in partnership with local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies to prevent, investigate, and solve crime while protecting Florida's citizens and visitors.

In support of this mission, FDLE operates and maintains many Relational Database Systems. To provide services to help protect the safety of all Floridians and visitors. Both public and officer safety are the core of FDLE's mission. In order to provide the highest level of services possible, FDLE requires the services of one Database Administrator related to Relational Database Systems.

FDLE also has many other systems needing additional resources to continue the level of support required.
