Responsible for data mining (processing, cleansing and verifying the integrity of data), scripting, data modelling, problem solving and visual analytics.
Experience in working with genomics data will be an added advantage
With strong interest and commitment in applying machine learning and statistical models on genomics datasets
Driving improvement in research methodology, systems and processes from data science perspective
Working collaboratively with scientists from multidisciplinary
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of industry-related experience
MSc or PhD qualification in Genetics, Data Science, Bioinformatics or BSc qualification with more than 5 years of industry experience
Excellent understanding of machine and deep learning techniques
Proficient in scripting using R, Python or equivalent is an added advantage
